Make sure you double check they send in your referrals to your insurance company or you will be stuck paying 100% of your medical bill. And don't expect an apology for their incompetence, just excuse after excuse and call after call and lie after lie. One phone call to my insurance was all it took to reveal they never sent in a referral to them after my initial appointment. St. Vincent also claimed all documentation sent to my insurance had been destroyed. When really they could not find any records of sending anything because they never had. By the time they tried covering their tracks and sending it, my insurance would not accept a late referral. Then they try to tell me how my insurance works and that the bill was my deductable to again put the blame off of them. Of course I know what my copay is per office visit and my catastrophic cap, so again I catch them trying to cover their butts. Honesty is the best policy people. A 2 minute conversation with my insurance company blew up your 3 days of giving me the run around.
